Help keep the Nelson Food Cupboard well stocked with your donations.

You can support the Nelson Food Cupboard by making a monetary or food donation as an individual, family , business, community group or school. There are several ways to do this:

Monetary

~ Make a donation by PayPal:

~ Send a cheque to the Nelson Food Cupboard. Donations of $20 or more can be issued charity receipts. For this purpose, please make cheques payable to the Nelson Food Cupboard Society and we will kindly write you a charity receipt.

~ Add a Nelson Food Cupboard cash donation to your grocery tab when shopping at the Kootenay Coop Grocery Store or Nelson’s SaveOn Foods. Simply ask your cashier for the till donation card.

~ Visit http://trailfair.ca/ProgramPages/Dentalaccess.html and make a donation to the dental health of our customers. The Trail Fair is a regional, not Trail specific, non-profit organization that works to assist low-income community members experiencing dental pain or infection to access dental work. Many Nelson Food Cupboard customers are in need of dental care they cannot afford.

~ Grow a row or patch of your garden to donate to the Nelson Food Cupboard. Click here to learn more.

~ Purchase or collect non-perishable food items & drop them off at the Nelson Food Cupboard Monday or Wednesday 9 – 12, Thursday 12 – 2, or call to arrange another time. The TOP TEN MOST WANTED FOODS.

Please note that we cannot accept food that is out of date, packaged food that has been opened nor home canning.
